All applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran or immigrant status. Come join our team and be part of this initiative!

Key Qualifications

  • An obsession for detail and a willingness to challenge and create collaboratively.
  • Significant experience measuring and optimising for success at the code and delivery levels.
  • Ability to contribute at different technical levels to form a state-of-the art service platform. You are able communicate thoughtfully, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a learning mentality to build long-term relationships.
  • Confidence and clarity in assessing complex problems and making decisions.

  • Some experience developing code for cloud deployment and associated tooling (examples: AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, Spinnaker).

Description

What you will work on: Work hands-on on a platform built to industrialise and scale products. Solve from a technical perspective problems that are expressed at the product level. Craft the best solutions to problems. Focus on measurable outcome and seek to improve. You are aware of the direction of the industry, bring in the best techniques and seek to remove ineffective approaches. Be an advocate for best-practices, clean code and fast feedback loops. You will act as a mentor to those around you and participate in collective improvements. Collaborate with other technical leaders, partners and stakeholders to come up with a vision and translate it to objectively measurable goals for you and your colleagues.

Education & Experience

• BSc or MS in Computer Science or related technical field, equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Additional Requirements

    • Prior exposure to payments, finance or banking domains and technologies, in particular Open Banking/PSD2.
    • Work on microservice architectures with service mesh on Kubernetes. Our stack is Java/Spring, Golang and Python.
    • Prior exposure to data pipelines and tools as well as working with DAGs.
    • This role may require occasional international travel/transatlantic travel.
  • Apple’s most important resource, our soul, is our people. Apple benefits help further the well-being of our employees and their families in meaningful ways. No matter where you work at Apple, you can take advantage of our health and wellness resources and time-away programmes. We’re proud to provide stock grants to employees at all levels of the company, and we also give employees the option to buy Apple stock at a discount — both offer everyone at Apple the chance to share in the company’s success. You’ll discover many more benefits of working at Apple, such as programmes that match your charitable contributions, reimburse you for continuing your education and give you special employee pricing on Apple products.
  • Apple benefits programmes vary by country and are subject to eligibility requirements.
